The College opened Commerce department in the year 1986, 1989 and 2010 respectively.
  1. Relevance of the Subjects

The department of commerce came into the light in our collage in the year11-12 with 64 students in 1st year degree commerce.The department got concurrence and affiliation for degree in commerce,in the year2011-2012and honours teaching with accounting began in the year 2013-2014.To day the to ful numberof students in accounting hons is 53in the dept.in the previous year the 1st batch hons students appeared the final degree examination and cane out with a significant success.The dept of commerce is going to introduce new honours subject like management accounting,and Marketing to cater the present demand of the students of commerce of the college.The introduction of CBCS in the dept of commerce has enriched the syllabus as well as teaching stems for the betterment of students. Every academic institution proves its exellence through its qualified and experienced faculty members .The dept of commerce is enriched with 4 faculty members including 2 gust faculty members at present .The faculty members are highly experienced and qualified enough to fulfill the needs of the students inside and outside the class.The dept needs two more hands for its smooth running and the future development.
