REOPENING
The College reopens after Summer Vacation and commencement of classes is notified by the Principal later. 2. e-ADMISSION in +2 & +3 Level
e-Admission for +2 and +3 wing (Arts, Science, Commerce) has been introduced by the Govt of Odisha, Dept of Higher Education in Marshaghai College from 2010- 11 and 2011-12 respectively. The students or parents have to apply through on- line. They can take print of the computer copy of filled application form.
Then can submit the application to get admissiom to any stream of any college of their choices under SAMS (Students Academic Management system). The application from is known as Common Application Form (CAF) for admission to any stream of any of the Junior / Degree colleges selected for e-Admission. 3.DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION.
a) Cash receipt in support of the purchase of printed computer copy printed computer copy application form.
b) Attested copy of the SLC/CLC/Board Certificate etc (For +2 & +3 applicants)
c) Attested copy of the Conduct Certificate.
d) Attested copy of the Computerised Mark-Sheet.
e) Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST students from the competent authority.
f) Physically Handicapped students are to attach Medical Certificate issued by the C.D.M.O.
g) Attested copies of NCC Certificate.
h) Migration Certificate (Only incase of other Board/University applicants)
i) President’s Scout/Guide Certificate (for +2 streams only)
j) Sports Certificate by the director of sports
k) One self addressed unstamped envelope of size (9″x4″)
l) Blood Group test report with three passport size photo copy.
The application complete in every respect alongwith the requisite documents should be submitted to admission Committee in the college office during working hours.
4. INTIMATION FOR ADMISSION :
Selection of candidates for admission is made by SAMS, Govt of Odisha. Intimation is sent through messge to cell mobile number which is given by students or through on-line.
5. PERIOD OF ADMISSION
i) As per the Odisha Higher Secondary Education Regulation, 1982 no student shall ordinarily be admitted into 1st year, of +2 class in an institution six weeks after the date of reopening of the institution after Summer vacation or from the date of publication of the (general) result of the Annual High School Certificate Examination of the Board of Secondary Education Odisha, whichever is later. However, the C.H.S.E, Odisha may permit a student two weeks more for admission with a late fee of Rs. 10/- (Rupees ten ) only.
ii) As per Utkal University Regulation of 1988 a student shall ordinarily be admitted into a college in +3 classes four weeks after the reopening of the college after Summer vacation or six weeks after the publication of the (general) results of Annual C.H.S.E, Odisha Examinations, whichever is later and two weeks thereafter on payment of late fee.
6. PERIOD OF RE-ADMISSION
Students of +2 Ist Year Arts / Science/Commerce promoted to 2nd Year classes and students of +3 Arts / Science/Commerce promoted to 2nd Year / 3rd Year, Degree classes are required to take re-admission within 4 (Four) weeks from the date of re-opening of the College after Summer Vacation. (or by notice given in the Notice Board)
